Custom guitars or clean restorations

All done in one place by one person from start to finish. Installing Floyd Rose on a Stratocaster or just refinishing a neck, converting a passive guitar to active pickups or replacing an input jack, we do it all. Your work order will be completed completely by one luthier so they can focus their care on your guitar and it's not just sent to the next station.

Hamer Slammer Series - Used Like New

  Apr 29th 2018 by Sam

We bought a used guitar to walk you through the steps of cleaning and maintaining a used guitar to make it look as good as it possibly can and function and play as well as it possibly can. The emphasis will be on cleaning and looks but there will be some setup ideas too.

Plus a lot of before, during, and finished pictures so you can watch the progress.

Ours got a little shipping damage which we will talk about too, obviously some shipping damage can't be fixed and some used guitars in general can't be fixed but if you find and receive a good used guitar we will show you how to get the most out of it.

Austin, Raspberry Not Pink - Tidy Resto

  Apr 10th 2018 by Sam

This Austin is in great shape considering it spent 2010 - 2011 in Afghanistan. The pickups were changed out about a year ago, it had a set of Samshin pickups but now has a Duncan Designed set.

It just needs a good cleaning and freshening up. I expect to find a lot of Afghanistan funk in the tremolo cavity and control cavity.

1980's ESP Strat Clone

  Apr 6th 2018 by Sam

We had a request to do a clone of an 80's Strat style guitar and this is what we came up with.

The flames were part of the order along with the ESP branded pickups. The protective plastic is still on the pick guard so it appears a little more matte color than it will be.

 Austin/Floyd Rose - work continues.

  Apr 11th 2018 by Sam

Austin Floyd

A Floyd Rose tremolo system conversion on an Austin Strat from 6 point bridge. There is more to it than drilling two holes and dropping it in and playing. A lot of measurements have to considered.

We started doing this guitar to raise awareness of the quality potential you get from an Austin with a little setting up and tweaking. We are now working on the neck, we have the Floyd Rose installed on the body, once the neck is polished it will be ready to install and ready to string.
